Who were the Palatines?  Where did they come from, and why did they come to America?
Find out the answers to those questions and much more when Ray Brown presents his program, “The Poor Palatines”, at the Root Seekers Genealogical Society meeting on Monday, August 15, at 7 pm in the Resource Room of the Tri-County Library in Mabank.

We will also be voting on the proposed changes to the Root Seekers Bylaws.  Please make plans to attend.

  1. Remember, there is also an article in the “Cabbages and Kings” section of the website on the Palatines. General Herkimer, a Revolutionary War general was a descendant of the Palatines.
